ANTIGUA COLOR SERIES– Designated by “TG” glaze numbers

The Antigua series features matte crackled surface on handcrafted smooth or deckled bisque, in a subtle palette of earth and neutral tones. These colors are beautiful used as a monochrome finish on our della Robbia and Embossed trims and decos,. The satiny surface, aged patina, and subtle color shifts will add elegance to any installation. Antigua tile should be sealed prior to grouting, and is not recommended for heavy traffic floor applications, or for countertop use.

VIVANT COLOR and DECO SERIES
Designated by  “VN” glaze numbers; decos designated by “VND” design image numbers

The Vivant line is based on the beautiful floor in the Pope’s Palace in Avignon, France. It features charming period 4x4 decos with creatures and botanicals, set with field tiles of varied texture in rich renaissance colors. The tile should be sealed prior to grouting. The glazes can be used on our extruded trim shapes.

BROCADE SERIES
Designated by “BR” numbers and pattern name

Our Brocade patterns present fabric imagery on flat tile that can be used on walls or floors. Using the Tessera glaze colors, designs can be bold, bright, earthy or subtle. Used in combination with solid Tessera color trims and field, the Brocade series offers exciting new visual possibilities. Tessera and Brocade tile should be sealed prior to grouting. Brocade patterns are limited to 3/8’’ thick field bisque in larger size formats.

CAMPAGNE COLOR SERIES
Designated by “NW” glaze numbers

The Campagne series presents a lovely antique gloss crackle finish on handmolded deckled or smooth bisque, appropriate for an 18th century European country look. The cheerful Campagne colors are the basis for our polychrome della Robbia trims and decos, and  complement the Embossed trims and decos. Campagne tile is inked to reveal the crackle pattern, and when sealed, is stain and acid resistant. The high gloss finish will be slippery when wet in floor applications, and will scratch with heavy countertop use.

Architerra NW Della Robbia trims and decos feature deeply sculpted bas-relief designs, in a wide variety of sizes and patterns, with corners and stops to customize your job. They can be finished in polychrome colors, using the Campagne glazes, or monochrome, using the Antigua, Campagne, or Tessera glazes, and will dramatically highlight any installation.

Our embossed trims and decos offer incised design accents that sit flush with the field tile surface, unless noted otherwise by cross section in the Embossed section of the catalogue. This allows for inset floor patterns, and sleek, interesting details on walls or in backsplash applications. Architerra NW embossed trims and decos can be glazed with any of our glaze finishes.

Architerra NW has a large selection of available trim shapes that can be finished in any of our glazes. We offer incorners, outcorners, stops, upangles and downangles in all trim shapes, and can also make custom lengths for your special installation needs. Note that some trims are appropriate for our thinner bisque, and others more suitable to our thicker handcrafted bisque. 

Tessera Colors are visually textural, with the beautiful variation of craftsman glazes.
The Tessera glazes can be used on our regular bisque, handcrafted bisque, della Robbia and Embossed trims and decos, and on our extruded trims. Tesera tile should be sealed prior to grouting.

The Tessera Patterns offer exciting design possibilities with bold shapes, in a wide palette of available colors. Design choices can be traditional or contemporary; the possibilities are huge for this line.  Brocade patterns on the shapes give a quilt quality to the finished look. Tile can be provided loose or surface taped, and should be sealed prior to grouting. Think outside the grid!

Architerra NW produces soap and shampoo shelves in several configurations, toilet paper holders, towel bar ends, as well as large corbel shapes. These pieces are available in all of our finishes.
